Brooke holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. magna cum laude in Speech Communications from the University of Missouri. After clerking for the Honorable John R. Blinn, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Texas, she practiced law for over 20 years in the Texas federal and state courts, eventually becoming a shareholder at Leonard Hurt Terry & Blinn, P.C.

She began LegalPro Editors after spending three years as "LegalPro," the top-ranked attorney editor at EditAvenue.com where she achieved an average 5-star (out of 5 stars) customer satisfaction rating on over 15,000 pages of edited documents. Since then, in conjunction with her nonlegal editing work, she’s edited an additional 10,000 pages and is quickly approaching her 50th book.
